It’s never too early to start thinking football! Our first Touchdown Club meeting of the year will be Tuesday, March 6th at 7pm in the Tuscarora High School Media Center. For those of you not familiar with Titan football, the Touchdown Club is a parent organization designed to support the football team. We raise funds to cover all of our special events and then organize and put them on. Events like the Lawn Chair Picnic, Senior Night, and the end of year awards ceremony. Last year we also covered spirit wear, the drinks after games,the football float in the Homecoming Parade, a celebration dinner for the undefeated JV team, and a donation at Christmas to the Tuscarora Spirit Club to help our students who may not have had much for Christmas. This year we are hoping to help out with some new ideas that Coach O’Brien has to bring our players to the next level. All ideas are welcome. We can only be as good as the support we get so we are asking everyone to consider pitching in and helping where they are comfortable.
