Freshman, JV and Varsity schedules have been posted to the website.
Summer lifting has changed this coming year … the boys will have to register online for the lifting program. Please read the program flyer for registration information. Registration deadline is May 11, 2012.
The next Touchdown Club meeting is set for Thursday, May 3rd (7pm) in the Tuscarora Media Center. Please plan to attend and bring a friend. The more parental involvement we have, the stronger our program will become.
Several things have been added to the football calendar. Please make sure these items make it on your calendar.
- Player interviews are currently going on for players interested in next year. See calender to sign up for a meeting. All of May is currently open.
- Information on Little Guys camp is now available.
- Lifting still on Tuesday and Thursdays (2:30-4pm) for players not in strength training. 8th graders from 4-5:30pm.
- Speed and agility on Wednesday nights 6 sessions left ($15.00). Wednesday nights from 8-9:00pm.
- Monday, June 4th: “Meet the 2012-2013 Coaches Night”
Agenda:
6:30–7pm .. Provide info about requirements / expectations / Summer weight room opportunities
7:00–7:20pm .. All Spring and Winter coaches will be available in the cafeteria to disseminate info about out-of-season opportunities for their program
7:20–8:30pm .. Fall program break out rooms to discuss their programs)
- Tuesday, June 5th. THS Sports Boosters club meeting to elect officers for next year. If there is no interest, the boosters will fold. If this happens we will lose lots of opportunity for our football program.
- Saturday, June 23. Touchdown club fundraiser at The Outback.
- Join our Facebook group to get up to the min info about the football program!!!!!!
- 2012 schedules will be posted online soon.
Don’t forget tonight at 7pm is our first Touchdown Club meeting of the year in the THS Media Center. Help us take a look at what we did last year and plan for the upcoming season. Our new Head Coach, Mike O’Brien will be there to share some ideas he has for the season. Let’s give him tons of support and see the Titans off to States this year! Please invite anyone interested in the football program and encourage everyone to bring their ideas on how they would like to help the Titan Football Program.
The first Touchdown Club meeting of 2012 has been scheduled for March 6. Read more about the meeting here.
Tonight’s game against Frederick has been postponed until Saturday 5:00 pm at Frederick. Players are to report Saturday at 1:00 pm.

First, congratulations to the freshmen and JV teams for another sweep, this time of Catoctin. Freshmen won 28-22 and JV dominated again with a 35-0 win.
A freshmen schedule update to note. On Saturday, 10/22, the freshmen will continue their game against TJ, which was stopped due to lightning earlier in the season. Then, immediately following that game, the freshmen will play another full game against TJ. Both games will be played at Tuscarora H.S.
The final freshmen game originally scheduled against Frederick H.S. has been cancelled because of the elimination of the FHS freshmen team.
Apparently, Oakdale’s stadium is NOT available for the rescheduled Oct 1 game. So, the game will be played at 10:00am at Tuscarora High School.
Two lightning-postponed JV games have been rescheduled. The JV team will travel to Oakdale this coming Saturday (Oct 1) to resume Tuesday night’s game where it was stopped. Game time is 10:00am. Then, on Saturday, Oct 22 the JV team will travel to Thomas Johnson to take on the Patriots. Game time is 10:00am.
The game at Rockville on Friday, September 23 will be at 6:30pm, not 7:00pm. Montgomery County plays it’s Friday night games at 6:30pm.
